PDF has concluded the third edition of the IgnitED 2026 competition, held under the theme “Water Management Solutions.” The initiative aims to empower Egyptian youth aged 12 to 16 to explore innovative solutions for water challenges.
This year’s competition attracted an outstanding participation of 750 students representing 50 schools from 18 Egyptian governorates. The students were divided into 80 teams across three main disciplines: robot design, app development, and website development.
The competition outcomes were diverse and impressive, showcasing the creativity and innovation of the participants. The event highlighted the importance of equipping future generations with technology, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to tackle water challenges.
