The Professional Development Foundation (PDF) has proudly unveiled the winners of the sixth round of the NGOs Award of Excellence. This prestigious award serves as a beacon of hope, aimed at nurturing and empowering non-profit organizations, while igniting their professional and administrative capabilities. The event was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Nevine El-Kabbaj, the Minister of Social Solidarity, distinguished representatives from the ministry, governmental institutions, prominent figures from the private sector, and the visionary leadership of Mr. Mohamed Farouk Hafeez, PDF Chairman and PDF board members.
Amidst this heartwarming celebration, Jossab Foundation for Community Development from Cairo Governorate emerged as first-place recipient. In a remarkable feat, the Nidaa Association for the Rehabilitation of Hearing-Impaired Children from Cairo Governorate secured the second place. The third-place honor was bestowed upon Ataa Charitable Association from Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate.
In addition, the esteemed Al-Dawaa for All Foundation from Cairo Governorate claimed the fourth-place.
Moreover, the winners of the Civic Pioneers Award, the legendary artist, Mohamed Sobhy, renowned as the goodwill ambassador for civil society, was honored for his tireless endeavors in rescuing and transforming the lives of those living in impoverished informal settlements. Additionally, the late Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, whose name shall forever be etched in our hearts for his profound contributions to the betterment of society.
